A downloadable game for Windows

ET: The Extra Terrestrial was a game released in 1982 as a promotional tie in for the super hit movie of the same name. Although the movie was phenomenal, the game turned out to be quite bad. How bad you ask? Well, it's regarded as one of the worst games of all time. It was so bad that Atari had to actually buy a land in the Death Valley to bury all the cartridges. It held a key role in the decline of Atari and video games in general.

However, the failure of the game was not the developer's fault. The developer, Howard Scott Warshaw, was only given a time span of 5 weeks to build the complete game. ET was intended to be a Pac Man clone, but Warshaw intended it to be something original. He wanted ET to be another gaming icon, which clearly shows how dedicated he was towards the game had it not been for the time constraint.

We have tried to make the entire game in just 5 days. From learning about the game to making everything - we took 5 days to make the game for Blackthornprod's Game Jam. Since we were just two developers of which one fell sick on the third day, the project is yet to be completed.

This game is currently under development. For the sake of the game jam it has been published right now, but this will have future developments.
